UFC Fight Night 26

August 17, 2013

If I get a chance I’m going to look deeper into this but as of now, I’m really like Chael Sonnen at +125 for at least 1.5 units. Can I see Shogun polishing off Sonnen in the first round? Yeah. But more likely I seeing Sonnen grinding his way to a decision win with constant doubles and pushing Shogun into the fence. Also wouldn’t be surprised to see Shogun gas and Sonnen score a TKO in the third. This is as likely as Shogun putting away Sonnen in the first.

What I get for trying to over think things and complicate the system. Twins win and I should’ve just trusted the system but the two G4 losses yesterday spooked me. Gonna cancel that chase and just take the one unit loss. Sucks but no point in crying about it now.

Also, unlike Cisco’s official plays or the other twitter account posting these plays, we filtered the Reds fade out yesterday and it’s filtered out again today. So don’t give up hope cause we’re winning that G4. I got confidence.

Lastly, if you followed my two posted MMA picks, you can add another 4.19 units to your haul yesterday. As expected, Cerrone dominated KJ Noons and Cain Velasquez killed Big Foot even quicker.

G1 BAL Orioles +1.5 @ TOR Blue Jays…WIN +.65

Not sure if there’s any interest here on these but this is my bread and butter. It’s the only sport I truly cap, though I haven’t had as much time to do it as years passed and since I’ve stopped training, the of the desire is gone. Regardless, I feel that I can still pick with the best of ’em.

This is more of a quick hitter then an actual breakdown but two easy fights right off the bat are Cain Velasquez -800 (5Dimes) vs. Antonio “Big Foot” Silva and Donald Cerrone -300 (5Dimes) vs. KJ Noons. Two fighter parlay gets these odds down to -200. Barring a miracle, Cain will run through Big Foot in similar fashion that he did the first time and actually, Cerrone is going to do the same. The difference being is the UFC likes Big Foot and he’ll keep fighting for the company. KJ Noons on the other hand is being fed to the wolves here. Cerrone needs a comeback fight after being rocked by Anthony Pettis and the UFC needs to get rid of Noons who’s lost four of his last five. Kill two birds with one stone. Cerrone is back in the limelight with a murdering if not highlight KO and Noons can be justfiably cut.

The 5 unit parlay plus a straight wager of 5 units are two bets I’ve already made. I’m looking at Rick Story (who’s odds are dropping) and Gray Maynard as two more bets to make. I’m more than 85% sure I’ll make both of these bets. Just not sure at what amount. And if you’re unfamilar with my MMA bets, I max bet at 5 units unless I’m more than 90% sure on an outcome (For example, whenever Jon Jones fights, the majority of GSP fights).
